Locally Sourced Fibers with a Touch of Colour – OOAK Hand-Carded Batts
These 50g batts are a soft and textured blend of local Texelaar wool and Alpaca fleece, enriched with vibrant merino wool. The natural tones of Texel sheep and Alpaca create a rich, earthy base, while carefully selected coloured merino highlights bring a subtle vibrancy to the fiber.
Each batt is one-of-a-kind (OOAK) and made in small batches—these colourways are limited and won’t be repeated exactly because currently, the merino is sourced from Australia. I am in the process of transitioning to locally sourced Merino as I continue to deepen our commitment to regional and sustainable fiber production.
