Veluws Heideschaap & Merino Art Batt – 50g (Last One!)
A Soft-Fade Jewel in uncommon Dutch Wool
One-of-a-Kind and Last in Stock
This unique, hand-carded art batt blends the crisp, natural white of Veluws Heideschaap wool with rich, jewel-toned dyed Australian merino. The result is a softly coloured, textural batt that spins up beautifully into a subtle marl or gradient yarn, and felts with striking character. Whether you're a spinner, felter, or fiber artist, this batt offers a rare blend that celebrates both rustic tradition and modern colour.
The Veluws Heideschaap is a heritage Dutch sheep breed raised in the heathlands of the Netherlands. Its fleece is long (8–15 cm), white, and lightly crimped, with a micron count between 26–34, making it strong yet workable. This wool has been minimally processed to preserve its natural texture and integrity. It's blended here with soft Australian merino for a smooth finish and gentle bounce.
This is the last batt available in this unique blend– once it’s gone, it’s gone!
Product Details:
50% Veluws Heideschaap (natural white, minimally processed)
